To register for LawNet, please enter your first name, last name, date of birth, and your LSAC account number.

Your LSAC account number was provided to you when you registered with the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). It is also the number that you used in your application to Columbia Law School. If you are an exchange study abroad student, please enter the Temporary CUID number provided to you by the Office of International Programs in this field.

For other questions regarding your LSAC account number or Temporary CUID, please contact the Office of Admissions.

Once you have filled out all of these fields, click on the "Submit" button to proceed or the "Reset" button to clear the fields and start over.

To complete your LawNet registration, please choose a password for your account that is at least 6 characters long and a security question and answer. The security question that you choose will serve as a user authentication tool in preventing others from accessing your account. If you do not wish to use any of the security questions provided, you can enter a custom question instead. Then, enter your answer to the question in the "Answer" field. Once you are done, click on the "Submit" button.

On the next page, the system will confirm that you have successfully activated your LawNet account. You will also receive an email confirmation shortly after.

To login to LawNet, click on the "Log In" button in the top, right-hand corner of the screen and provide your credentials.

Once you are ready to exit LawNet, please remember to sign out.
